During January-July of this year, the subsidiary of “Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation” JSC, “Azeripek” LLC, exported products worth
1.8 million USD.
According to
“Report”, this was reported in the August issue of the “Export Review” by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to the information, this is
11 times more compared to the same period last year.
It should be recalled that “Azeripek” was established in 2018. The company’s production areas include raw silk extraction from cocoons, weaving production, dyeing and decorating production, cotton spinning production, and twisting workshop. Non-production areas include the administrative building, mechanics, energy, automotive transport, and raw material sections.
The cotton spinning production has an annual production capacity of
3 thousand tons of yarn processing in a
3-shift schedule; raw silk extraction production has an annual production capacity of
350 tons of wet cocoon in a
1-shift schedule; weaving production has an annual production capacity of
450 thousand p/m of silk fabric and
400 thousand p/m of cotton fabric in a
1-shift schedule; dyeing and decorating production has an annual production capacity of
24 thousand traditional scarves (kelaghayi),
4 thousand scarves, and
8 thousand chitme in a
1-shift schedule.
The products manufactured by the enterprise are mainly exported to Russia, Turkey, and Iran.
