During January-May of this year, the subsidiary of “Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation” JSC, “Azeripek” LLC, exported products worth
1 million USD.
According to XALQ.AZ, this was reported in the June issue of the “Export Review” by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to the information, this is
865 thousand USD or
7.4 times more compared to the same period last year.
It should be noted that in January-May 2020, “Azeripek” LLC exported products worth
135 thousand USD.
Recall that “Azeripek” was established in 2018. The production areas within the company include a raw silk extraction production from cocoons, weaving production, dyeing-decorating production, cotton spinning production, and twisting workshop. Non-production areas include the administrative building, mechanics, energy, automotive transport, and raw material sections.
The cotton spinning production has an annual production capacity of
3 thousand tons of yarn processing in a
3-shift work schedule; the raw silk extraction production from cocoons has an annual production capacity of
500 tons of wet cocoon processing in a
1-shift schedule; the weaving production has an annual production capacity of
50 thousand p/m of silk fabric and
40 thousand p/m of cotton fabric in a
1-shift schedule; the dyeing-decorating production has an annual production capacity of
10 thousand traditional scarves and
5 thousand scarves produced manually in a
1-shift schedule.
The products manufactured by the enterprise are mainly exported to Russia, Turkey, and Iran.
