The United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to our country visited “Azəripək” LLC.

The United States Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Lee Litzenberger, visited the city of Shaki. During the visit, Lee Litzenberger toured “Azeripek” LLC and became closely acquainted with the production process there. The guest was provided with detailed information about the company’s raw silk extraction from cocoons, the dyeing and decorating workshop operations, and silk production in general. Later, in the carpet workshop, the ambassador expressed satisfaction and admiration for the Azerbaijani cultural heritage, particularly for the traditional scarves (kelaghayi) and loop weaving art.
