November 1 is Agricultural Workers’ Day.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, by his decree dated October 9, 2008, designated November 1 each year as **Agriculture Workers’ Day** in our country.
Thanks to the successful agrarian policy and the development of agriculture, which is economically strategic and highly productive, this sector has gained a special place in the national economy. Agriculture, being the leading sector of the non-oil industry, has stepped into a qualitatively new stage of development.
The **Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation** JSC sincerely congratulates all agricultural workers, including the staff of its subsidiary enterprises operating in this field and all farmers cooperating with these companies, on the occasion of their professional holiday.
