A delegation from the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation JSC participated in the Agroforum of Turkic States.

The Turkic States Agribusiness Forum was held in Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was organized within the framework of the 1st Meeting of Agriculture Ministers of the Turkic States Organization. Officials from member states and observer countries, as well as representatives of specialized companies in the agricultural sector, participated in the forum. The Azerbaijani delegation was represented under the leadership of Mr. Inam Karimov, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
     The forum also included the participation of Ilgar Vahabov, Deputy Director of the Strategic Development and Commercial Department of “Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation” JSC, and Samad Nabiyev, Director of “Azəripək” LLC, a subsidiary of the Corporation. During the visit, business meetings were held with the “Uzbekipaksanoat” Association, the Scientific Research Institute of Sericulture of Uzbekistan, silk-producing enterprises, as well as representatives of organizations operating in the field of sericulture and silk production in the Khorezm and Shahrisabz regions, to discuss the development of sericulture and silk production, opportunities for cooperation, exchange of experience, and future prospects. During these meetings, discussions were held on implementing joint initiatives for future cooperation, exchanging professional personnel, and exploring collaboration opportunities in other related areas.
